Founded in 2003 by Chantelle and Shawn Turcotte, Casual Elegance is the realization of a DREAM. Chantelle’s passion for decorating, shopping and love of retail fuelled her desire to embark on a career change. A former elementary school teacher with a creative eye for merchandising and trends lead to the creation of Casual Elegance.

Before opening the store Chantelle and Shawn moved to Stittsville in order to be closer to the store. Both of their young children “grew up” at the store as Chantelle continued to grow the business. We carry a fine selection of candles, linens, prints, mirrors, garden, gourmet food, pet, toys, baby, and elegant home decor.

Our distinctive displays and selection of merchandise never fails to surprise. With orders arriving daily the inventory is constantly changing. Our seasonal merchandise is a sight to be hold. The unique and ever changing vignettes display merchandise in its intended setting which allows the consumer to envision how they might use the items in their own homes.
